The Early Chamber celebrated the organization with a ribbon cutting ceremony and named it Business of the Month for October. In May 2021, the Brown County chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace – TX, Brownwood was formed. Last year, Sleep In Heavenly Peace donated 98 beds to children in need. This year, they are on pace to double that number and deliver 200 beds. While currently serving Brown County and the city of Comanche, more volunteers are needed to extend their reach throughout Comanche County. Nationally, SHP delivered their 100,000th bed last year and has already provided over 50,000 beds this year.
