The Early Chamber held the April Lunch+Learn Tuesday, April 16, sponsored by Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood, Executive Director Sarah Hoffman of Brown County United Way delivered an informative presentation. She shed light on the wide range of services and resources offered by the non-profit organizations they work with to support Brown County. Lunch was provided by Jerry’s Burgers and Shakes.
For 44 years, Brown County United Way, in conjunction with various community partners, has been dedicated to enhancing education, health, and financial stability for all residents of Brown County. Sarah eloquently described the impactful initiatives undertaken by local non-profits, providing valuable insights. Currently collaborating with 14 other community partners, BCUW’s joint efforts, from assisting the homeless to offering educational programs, childcare, and more, have a significant positive effect on the community. Notably, 99.24% of all donations are allocated within Brown County.
